Our spot is located in Chakala, which is right in the middle of Andheri East. If you know Mumbai at all, you know how crowded and busy it gets around Tarun Bharat Road. We are inside the Royal Accord building, specifically at Shop-8. Some of the locals know it better as Shilpa Trading. It is a relatively small space for a company with such a big-sounding name. We handle a lot of the trading and distribution tasks from this shop. It involves a lot of boxes coming in and then going right back out again. The shop is right there on the ground level, which makes it easier for the guys to load up the bikes and the small delivery vans. We have got our regular crowd that comes through every day. Being in this part of Mumbai-Mumbai City means there is never really a quiet moment for us. We just sit here and manage the daily orders. It is mostly about making sure our inventory matches up with what the local shops are asking for. It gets a bit cramped inside Shop-8 when a new shipment arrives from the warehouse. We do not have any fancy meeting rooms or glass walls. We just have a table, some chairs, and the computer to track things. We just get on with the work as it comes. The traffic on Tarun Bharat Road is usually a mess in the evenings, so we try to finish up early.
