Koshi Travels

Koshi Travels is located at shop number 15 in the Chatrapati Shivaji area of Kandivali West. We are very close to Atharva Engineering College. Because of that, there are always students walking past our front door. The shop is a small place. We have a couple of old chairs for people to sit on while they wait. We spend our time looking at bus schedules and train timings on the computer. The sun hits the front window in the afternoon, making it very hot inside. We have some posters of different cities on the walls, but they are starting to peel at the edges. It is a local business, so most of our customers live just a few streets away. They come in to talk about their holiday plans or just to book a quick ticket to see their relatives. My partner handles the money and I do most of the bookings. We get our tea from the guy next door twice a day. Sometimes the internet goes down and we just have to wait around. It can be frustrating, but that is just how it goes sometimes. We have seen a lot of people come and go over the years. We keep the shop open late on Saturdays because that is when everyone is out running errands. It is just a regular travel desk doing regular work for the neighborhood.
