Our office is up on the second floor of Trade Corner, right by the Sakinaka Junction in Andheri East. It’s a hectic part of town, but being right at the junction means we see everything that’s happening in the area. Konkan Property Development & Investment Co. Ltd. sounds like a big name, but we are just a group of people working out of this space. We spend a lot of time looking at different plots of land and figuring out what can be built there. It’s a lot of back and forth with developers and people looking to put their money into something solid. Some days are spent entirely on the phone or looking at maps. We’ve been around Sakinaka for a good bit, so we’ve seen how much the buildings have changed over the years. It’s not always easy work, especially with how fast things move in Mumbai. We just take it day by day. We handle the development side and look into investments for folks who want to get into the property game. It’s practical work. We don't have a big shiny showroom or anything like that. Just a regular office where we get things done. People come by to talk about land or how the market is shifting. We try to give them the honest picture of what's going on. It’s mostly about knowing the local streets and who owns what.
