Kochra Realty Llp is based in South Mumbai, right at Hutatma Chowk. Our office is on Floor G of the Old Oriental Building, which is Plot 65 on Mahatma Gandhi Road. Being in the Fort area is something special. The building itself is one of those beautiful old heritage structures with high ceilings and thick walls. It’s got a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk in. We’re right near the fountain and all the old colonial-era architecture. It’s a very different vibe from the new parts of the city. Inside, the office is a mix of old and new. We have our modern computers and desks, but the bones of the building are very traditional. It can be a bit drafty sometimes, and the old windows have their quirks, but we wouldn’t trade it for a glass box in the suburbs. We spend our days working on realty projects, mostly talking on the phone or meeting with people who come by. The area is always full of tourists, lawyers, and office workers, so there’s a lot of life right outside our door. We like being in the heart of Fort. It makes us feel connected to the history of Mumbai. We don’t go for anything too polished or corporate. We just like the solid feel of the Old Oriental Building. It’s a good place to sit and get things done while the city moves around us.
