Kny Events

Our office is tucked away in the East Wing of Gagan Vihar Society, which is in J B Nagar, Andheri East. Most people know the area because it's near the CCD. It’s a quiet enough spot considering we are in Mumbai. At Kny Events, we spend a lot of our time on the phone or sitting around the big wooden table trying to figure out schedules. It’s not always pretty. There are piles of folders everywhere and sometimes someone spills tea on a printout. That’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We’ve been in this building for a bit now, and the neighbors are used to us coming and going at odd hours. Event work isn't really a nine-to-five thing. Sometimes we are here until late at night fixing small details that probably nobody else will notice, but we know they’re there. The walk from the station isn’t too bad, though in the monsoon, it gets a bit messy like everywhere else. We don't have a big fancy reception area with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We like it that way because it feels more like a workspace than a corporate showroom. We just try to stay organized and keep our heads down. It’s a lot of lists and checking things twice. Nothing too complicated, just hard work and a lot of patience with everyone involved.
