Kishna Traders

Kishna Traders is tucked away in Mukhara Chawl, over on Charni Road. It’s a busy part of Girgaon, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We’ve been at No. 2/A for years now. It’s a small space, typical for this area, but we make it work. Most of the people around here know us by now. We handle trading for all sorts of items, mostly just day-to-day stuff that people need for their shops or homes. The building is old, and the stairs can be a bit narrow, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We spend our mornings checking what’s arrived and our afternoons getting things ready for pickup. It gets pretty loud with the street noise, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Mumbai, just a reliable one for the folks who come to us. Our neighbors are mostly other small shops and families who have been here forever. We keep our hours regular, though sometimes we stay a bit late if a shipment is behind or if there's a lot of paperwork to finish. It’s not a glamorous job, just honest trading from a small corner in Girgaon. If you’re walking down toward the station, you’ll probably pass right by us without even realizing it. We like the local feel of Charni Road and the people we see every day. It feels right being here.
