Kirti Tours & Travels

Kirti Tours & Travels is situated in Kamala Bhawan No 2, right on Garibdas Road in Andheri East. We are directly opposite Garware Co, so that is usually how people find us if they get lost. The office is on the second floor. It is a bit of an old building, so the elevator is sometimes moody, and most of us just use the stairs anyway. Inside, it is mostly just desks, phones ringing, and stacks of papers. We deal with a lot of bookings and schedules all day. It gets a bit hectic when the holiday seasons come around, and the noise from the street does not help much. We have got maps pinned to the walls that have been there for years. They are starting to yellow at the edges. We do not have those glossy travel brochures everywhere like some big agencies. We just tell people the prices and the times. It is a straightforward business. Most of our clients are people from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for a long time. They know we stay open late most nights. Sometimes we sit here until the street gets quiet, just catching up on the paperwork. There is always tea being passed around. We do not have a uniform or anything like that. We just wear what is comfortable and get the work done. It is a busy life here in Andheri, but we keep the wheels turning.
