Kingfisher Airlines

We operate out of No. B-205 in the Jalatarang Apartments. It’s a residential building in Mumbai 400070, so it doesn't look like a typical airline office from the outside. Kingfisher Airlines has this spot as a base for handling the local side of things. There are families living all around us, so we try to keep the noise down. The apartment is filled with desks and files instead of a living room set. You can see the laundry hanging from the balconies across the way. It’s a very local way to run things. We walk up the stairs every morning and get the computers going. The air conditioner is a bit old and rattles sometimes, but it gets the job done when the Mumbai humidity is high. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address in the apartment block. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away at the keyboards. It’s a practical space. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon slump hits. The view from the window is just more buildings and a bit of the street below. It is a quiet place to get through the work without the distractions of a big commercial hub. We like it here because it feels like being part of the community rather than just a business, even if the office is just a regular flat.
