Kingfisher Airlines (Ground Staff Mumbai Airport )

Agripada is where we are based, specifically on the second floor of Zaveri Building. It is flat number 6. This is not the actual airport, obviously, but this is where a lot of the ground staff business gets handled behind the scenes. The building is an older one, which is typical for the Mumbai 11 area. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are narrow, but it has a lot of character. We do not have those big glass walls like the airport terminals do. Here, it is mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of logbooks and schedules. We spend our shift times coordinating things and making sure everyone knows where they need to be for their next flight duty. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when flights are delayed and we have to stay late to sort out the staff rotations. The neighborhood around Zaveri Building is quite lively with lots of small shops and food stalls nearby. We usually grab a quick snack from the corner vendor when we have a few minutes. It is a working office for real people. We do not spend money on decorations or fancy carpets because we are too busy with the day-to-day operations. The flat is usually filled with the sound of people talking on their mobiles or the rustle of printed papers. It is not a glamorous life, but it works.
