You can find us at building number 21 in Ballard Estate, right on the ground floor at number 26. Khandelwal Travels has been operating out of this spot for a good while. Ballard Estate has that old-school feel with all the stone buildings, and we’ve kind of become part of the furniture here. Our office isn't anything fancy. It’s just a ground-floor room with enough space for our desks and all the travel papers we have to deal with. We spend our days looking at maps, checking train and flight times, and trying to help people get where they need to go. It can be a bit stressful when a booking goes wrong or a flight is delayed, but we just handle it. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It’s just us and our computers. We’ve lived in this city for most of our lives, so we know how to navigate the mess of travel. Most people who come to us are just locals or office workers from nearby who need a trip sorted out. We don't use a lot of marketing fluff. We just tell people what’s available and what it costs. Sometimes we're a bit blunt, but we’re honest about the options. The ground floor is handy because people can just walk in off the street without climbing stairs. It gets a bit dusty with the windows open, but we like the fresh air. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business.
