We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork that comes with property and talking to people who walk in looking for a place to stay or sell. The office isn't very large, but it’s functional for what we need to do. We have stacks of files and maps of the local area scattered around. Shankar Lane can get really crowded in the evenings, making parking a nightmare, so we usually just walk or take an auto if we need to go nearby. It’s a practical setup here. We don't use big words or try to act like a giant corporation. We are just local people who know the streets of Kandivali quite well. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea, and other days it feels like everyone in Mumbai is trying to call us at once. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now, and the neighbors in the building are all friendly enough. We just try to be honest with people about what’s available and what’s not. It’s a straightforward way of doing things that seems to work for us as a small team.
