Keralawaterways And Infrastructures Limited is tucked away in the Sion Koliwada area. Specifically, we are on the third floor of building 531 in the Sind Hindu Seva Samitinagar. It’s a part of Antop Hill that has its own unique character. The building isn't new, and our office has that lived-in feel with old desks and stacks of government forms and infrastructure plans. Working in Mumbai City means we are used to the noise and the crowded streets right outside our door. We focus on big projects involving waterways and local infrastructure, which involves a lot of coordination with different departments. It’s rarely a quiet day here. There’s always someone coming in with a new set of drawings or a report that needs signing. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just handle the technical side of making sure things get built correctly. Sometimes the elevators in the building are a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s all part of the daily routine. We’ve been operating out of this Sion location for some time, and we’ve become part of the local scenery. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. It’s about getting the work done and making sure the projects we are responsible for actually benefit the community in the long run.
