Kennametal India Limited

Our location is right near the Peenya Ring Road on Tumkur Road. It’s a massive area and finding the right gate can be a bit tricky if it’s your first time here. Kennametal India Limited has been part of this landscape for a long while now. It’s a big site with a lot of movement. You’ll see people in uniforms and safety gear walking around all the time. It feels very industrial because it is. There is the constant sound of the highway nearby and the internal sounds of the plant. We don't have a lot of carpeted areas; it’s mostly concrete and steel. The office sections are separate but they still feel connected to the factory floor. We deal with a lot of heavy stuff here. The morning starts early, usually before the traffic on Tumkur Road gets completely stuck. We have a canteen where everyone gathers for food, which is probably the busiest place on the whole site during noon. It’s not a place for quiet contemplation. It’s a place for production and getting things shipped out on time. The dust from the road sometimes settles on the cars in the parking lot, but that’s just life in an industrial zone. We’ve got a lot of history in this spot. We don't try to look like a modern tech startup. We look like exactly what we are—a hardworking industrial facility.
