Kd2 Icecream Factory Private Limited

We are located on the second floor of Sakharam Bhuvan in Mahim. It’s room number 8. It’s not where you’d expect an ice cream place, maybe, being upstairs and all. T.H. Kataria Marg is always busy with traffic and people rushing to the station. We spend most of our time around the big freezers. It’s cold inside our workspace even when the Mumbai heat is hitting 35 degrees outside. We do all the mixing and freezing right there. It’s a small team of us. We have to carry the milk cans up sometimes, which is a bit of a workout for everyone. The machines have a constant hum that you eventually stop noticing. We don't have a big showroom. It’s more of a production spot. We make the batches, pack them, and get them ready to go. Sometimes the power fluctuates, and we all panic for a second because of the freezers, but that’s just life here. We’ve been in this building for a while now. Mahim is a nice area, very central and easy to get to. You can smell the sea sometimes if the wind is right and the windows are open. We aren't doing anything fancy with dry ice or liquid nitrogen. Just old-fashioned ice cream making in a small room on the second floor. It gets a bit cramped when we have a big order, but we manage somehow. It’s just us doing our work and keeping things moving. We just take it one day at a time.
