Kaymo Fastener Co. is based out of the Laxmi Wollen Mills Estate in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai. Our specific spot is Block S- 2 on Shakti Mill Lane. It’s right off Dr. E. Moses Road. It can get a bit cramped with all the boxes and stock piled up, but we know where everything is. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are narrow. People come and go all day. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. It’s more about making sure the orders are ready when someone comes to pick them up. The humidity in Mumbai can make the warehouse feel a bit heavy in the afternoons. We just turn the fans on and keep moving. It's a practical space for a practical business. No one here wears a suit. We’re usually in work clothes, dealing with the inventory or talking to the delivery guys. That’s pretty much the story of our life here in Mahalaxmi.
