Kausar Tours Travels

Our shop is Shop Number 12 in the Sitaprasad Chawl. We are over in Santacruz East, near the 7th Main and 14th Cross on K R Road. It’s a busy little area and we have been here for a good while. We spend our days talking about trips and booking tickets for people. It is a small place, so when two or three customers come in at once, it feels very full. We have posters on the walls of different places, but mostly we are just looking at the computer screens or talking on the mobile. Santacruz is always moving, so there is a lot of noise from the street outside our door. We help people figure out how to get from one place to another, whether it’s a bus or a flight. Sometimes people just come in to ask about prices and we chat for a bit. It’s not a fancy travel agency with a big lobby. It’s just us in the chawl, doing our work. We know a lot of the families around here because they’ve been coming to us for years. Sometimes the traffic on K R Road is so bad that people just walk to the shop instead of driving. We keep a diary of all the bookings and try to make sure no one misses their ride. It’s a lot of responsibility but we like being part of the neighborhood here.
