Kashi Dairy

Kashi Dairy is our family-run spot in Chembur, right on Ashram Road. We occupy units 6 and 7 in the Sunder Apartments building, which is near the Sion area. Dairies are always early-morning places. We start before the sun comes up to get everything ready for the neighborhood. It’s a routine we’ve had for a long time. The smell of fresh milk and the sound of crates moving are what our mornings look like. We aren't a big factory. We just serve the local folks who live in Sunder Apartments and the surrounding streets. Sometimes the fridge makes a bit of noise, but it keeps everything cold, so we don't mind. We don't have fancy packaging or big colorful posters. It’s just the basics. People come by for their daily needs, and we chat for a minute before they head to work. It’s a friendly atmosphere. The space isn't huge, but we keep it clean. Working in Chembur means we see a lot of the same faces every day. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in to buy their own milk. It’s satisfying to be a part of the local community like that. We don't do home delivery with apps; people just walk over. It's how things have always been done here. We just try to keep the quality good and the service steady. We stay open late enough for the evening rush too, just in case someone forgot something.
