Karuna Enterprises

Karuna Enterprises is located over at 46/4 in Chembur East, right by Bhakti Bhavan. It’s an old area and we’ve been part of the landscape for a long time now. If you’re walking around here, you’ll see our door is almost always open during the day. We deal with a lot of different things, mostly supplies and bits and pieces that local businesses need. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls; it’s more of a functional space where we keep our records and stock. My desk is usually covered in notebooks and delivery slips because things move fast around here. Chembur is a crowded place, especially in the afternoons when the sun is out, but we stay busy inside. We know most of the people who stop by by their first names. It’s a small team here, maybe just three or four of us depending on the day. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of our work is done talking to people or checking the shelves. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding a spot to park near Bhakti Bhavan, so we end up carrying boxes ourselves. It’s just part of the job. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a steady business that stays open and gets the work done for the people in the neighborhood.
