You can find our office at 781 Benki Nawab Lane in Dadar East. It’s a narrow lane, typical for this part of town, so it can be a bit tricky for cars to get through. Karlkaz Tours & Travels is a small room packed with posters of places most of us haven't visited ourselves yet. We’ve got a couple of old computers that take a while to start up in the morning. The walls are covered with maps and some notes we’ve pinned up over the years. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to sort out tickets or checking on bus schedules. It’s a lot of waiting on hold and listening to hold music. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when a whole family comes in to talk about their trip. We have a few chairs for guests, but one of them is a bit wobbly. The neighborhood is lively, and we usually get our tea from the stall just around the corner. Dadar is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of people outside. We don’t really have a big sign, just a small one by the door. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. It’s a simple business. We try to keep our records straight and make sure we don’t miss any calls. That’s pretty much how we spend our days until it's time to lock the shutters.
