Karan Enteprises

You can find Karan Enteprises over at Abdul Rehman Street, specifically in Building 111, Shop 2. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know it’s always crowded with handcarts and people rushing everywhere. It’s loud from morning until the shops finally close up at night. We’ve been in this spot for quite a bit. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes. It’s not very organized, to be honest, but we usually know where everything is kept. If someone asks for something specific, we might have to move three or four heavy crates just to get to it. That’s just the way we operate here. We don't have many staff, just a couple of us helping out. My uncle used to run things before I took over. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around all day long. Sometimes the tea guy from around the corner brings us a cup and we take a five-minute break to talk about the weather. The shop stays quite dusty because of all the traffic and construction outside. We try to sweep it every morning but by noon it looks the same again. It isn't a glamorous job or a fancy place. We just open up at ten and stay until late evening. Dealing with the suppliers and the crowd is just part of the daily routine on Abdul Rehman Street. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going day after day.
