Kanifnath Telecom Centre & Travel Agency

We are located inside the Om Sai Housing Society in Andheri East. It’s a small shop that does a bit of everything related to telecom and travel. You can come here to get your mobile recharged or if you need to book a ticket for a bus or a train. We’ve been in this society for a good while. People from the building and the surrounding houses all know us. It’s a very local operation. We have a couple of computers and a printer that we use for the bookings. The shop isn't very big, so if there are more than three people inside, it feels full. We also help people with various travel forms or if they are looking for a holiday package. It’s a lot of time spent on the internet, checking prices and availability. We don’t have a big corporate office; it’s just a counter and some chairs. Being in Andheri East, things are always moving fast. We open early so people can stop by on their way to work. Sometimes we just sit and chat with the neighbors who come in to pay a bill. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, mostly. We don’t do big advertisements. Most people just see the sign when they are coming home. It’s practical work helping people get their daily tasks done. We try to stay organized, but with all the different services, the desk gets cluttered with receipts and notes.
