Kangan Exports

Getting up to the third floor here at 83, Narayan Dhuru Street can be a bit of a workout if you’re doing it five times a day. Kangan Exports has been tucked away in this building for quite some time. The street downstairs is always packed with carts and people moving stuff, so it’s never quiet. We spend most of our mornings opening up the windows to let some air in before the heat really kicks in. The space is filled with boxes and rolls of material that need to be checked and sorted. There isn't much room for fancy decorations, so we just have some old calendars on the walls and a few chairs that have seen better days. When the deliveries arrive, things get a bit chaotic in the hallway. We have to coordinate with the guys downstairs to make sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It’s a lot of manual work, checking labels and writing out manifests by hand. We usually take a break around mid-afternoon when the sun is hitting the windows hard. Someone usually goes down to get snacks for everyone. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to keep the operations running smoothly without too many headaches. It’s a tight-knit group here, and we mostly just focus on getting the crates packed and out the door before the courier shows up at five.
