Kanchan Masala

You can find Kanchan Masala over at Plot No.14 on the Main Road in Sedi Bazar. This part of Charkop in Kandivali East is always moving, and we’re right in the middle of it. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. The shop is tucked away among many others, but the smell of toasted coriander usually gives us away to anyone walking by. It’s a tight space, packed with sacks of cardamom, cloves, and various powders. We aren't a big corporation with fancy uniforms. Usually, we’re just wearing our everyday clothes, covered in a light layer of spice dust. The neighborhood is busy, so we see all kinds of people coming through Sedi Bazar. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can get a bit chaotic with bags piled up and people waiting. We don't spend money on big ads because word of mouth in Kandivali is better anyway. If someone likes our garam masala, they tell their neighbor, and that's how we grow. We do all the grinding and mixing ourselves right here on the premises. Sometimes the machines act up or the heat gets to be too much, but we just take a short break and get back to it. It’s a practical, local business. We focus on the product and let the quality speak for itself without any unnecessary fluff or corporate talk that no one really believes anyway.
