We are based over in Andheri East, up on the 10th floor of the Atrium Building. It’s in the B Wing, right across from where the Big Cinema used to be on the Andheri Kurla Road. Getting here in the morning can be a real headache because of the traffic near the station and the metro work, but once you’re up in the office, it’s a bit quieter. We spend a lot of time on computers here, looking at floor plans and talking to contractors. It’s a big space but it still feels like a regular workplace where everyone is just trying to get through their list for the day. We have meetings about new projects and then someone usually has to go down to the site to check on things. Being in the realty business in Mumbai means things move fast. One day we are looking at a plot of land and the next we are talking about tile samples. It’s a lot of coordinating between different people. The elevators in this building are always busy, especially around lunchtime. We’ve got a view of the city from up here, which is nice when you need a break from looking at spreadsheets. It's just a group of us working on housing and commercial spaces, making sure the plans actually turn into real buildings. No fancy talk, just a lot of coordination and follow-ups to make sure things stay on track for the folks moving in.
