You can find us at Ramdev Master Chawl, specifically at number 2 on S. V. Road in Andheri West. Anyone who lives in Mumbai knows how chaotic S. V. Road gets with the constant stream of rickshaws and buses. Even though we are right there, the chawl is tucked away enough to offer a little bit of quiet. We’ve been here for years, and the space definitely shows its age. At kamla group, we don't care much for glass towers or fancy lobbies. Our office is just filled with the desks and tools needed for our daily work. Space gets tight when the whole team is in, and the monsoon rains usually bring a damp smell and strange sounds from the roof. We keep our files in tall stacks and just keep moving through the work. Most people who visit are local folks who have known us for a long time. Spending money on fancy furniture seems like a waste when we are so busy anyway. Andheri moves at a frantic speed, so we just keep our heads down and try to finish before the evening train rush. It is a very basic setup, but it suits our needs perfectly. We don't have a formal receptionist, so if someone walks in, one of us just looks up from our desk to help them out. It is just a regular group of people doing regular work in a busy part of the city.
