Kalash Tours & Travels

We are over here at Bid Chawl, specifically Building No 2 in the Mumbai Central area. It gets really crowded around here, mostly because we are so close to the Mumbai Central S T Depot. If you know the 400008 zip code, you know how it is. Kalash Tours & Travels has been operating out of this spot for a while now. Most days it’s just us handling the usual travel stuff, booking buses or figuring out train timings for people coming and going from the depot. It’s a busy part of town. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but that is just Mumbai for you. We don’t have a big fancy office or anything, just a regular space where we keep our papers and talk to folks who walk in. People usually find us when they are heading toward the station or coming off a long bus ride. It isn't always easy keeping track of all the schedules and cancellations, especially when things get chaotic during the holidays. We just try to get the bookings done right so nobody gets stuck. The building itself is an older one, but it works for what we need. You can find us pretty easily if you look for the ST Depot first and then just walk over to Bid Chawl. It is a straightforward setup. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at the computer screens to see what seats are left.
