Kailash Engineering Works

Kailash Engineering Works is based in the Ajay Service Industrial Estate. We are up on the first floor, Gala B-Anjiwadi, over on Dr. Mascarenhas Road in Mazagoan. It’s an industrial area, so it’s loud and dusty, just like you’d expect. Our shop at No. 106 is full of heavy machinery and the smell of metal and oil. We’ve been here for years, doing all sorts of machining and repair work. It’s not a clean office environment. We wear overalls and our hands are usually greasy. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. People find us because they need something fabricated or fixed, and they heard we do a decent job. We take on all kinds of small and medium projects. Sometimes we’re working on a single part for a week, and other times it’s a whole lot of repetitive stuff. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, and the lighting could be better, but the machines work fine. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decor. Every bit of space is used for tools or materials. Mazagoan is our home base, and we like the grit of the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be a huge factory. We just like the honest work of making things. If you come by, you’ll probably find me at the lathe or checking a measurement.
