Our spot is Room Number 317 in Udyog Nagar, which is over in Worli. If you know Mumbai, you know how P B Marg gets during the rush hour. It is a lot of noise and people moving fast, but inside the building, we are just focused on the engineering work. K P Engg Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this room for quite some time. It is an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machinery or trucks loading things up nearby. The office isn't very large, but we have enough space for the tools and the drawings we use. Engineering is a lot of measuring and double-checking things, so we spend most of the day looking at those details. It gets warm in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and stay on top of the orders. People from different parts of the city come to find us for specific parts or help with their projects. We are not a giant corporation with thousands of employees; we are just a team in a room in Worli getting things built. The walls are a bit plain, and the files are stacked high, but it works for us.
