Jyoti Engineering Works

You can find us at Shop 216 in the Panwala Building, right in the C.P. Tank area. It is an old building, and our shop definitely has that lived-in feel to it. There is a lot of history in these walls, and we have added our own bit of history with all the engineering work we have done over the years. The space is small, so we have to be organized, though it might not look like it to a stranger walking in for the first time. We deal with all sorts of mechanical parts and repairs. It is the kind of place where the tea arrives in small glasses from the corner shop and the conversation is usually about the work at hand. C.P. Tank is always crowded, and getting things in and out of the building can be a bit of a challenge with the narrow lanes. We do not have a big corporate structure or fancy titles for the staff. We are just a few people who know how to handle tools and fix things. Sometimes we have to hunt for a specific spare part in the back of a high shelf for twenty minutes. That is just how it goes here. We do not promise the moon, we just do the engineering work that is needed. Most of our customers are locals who have known us for years. It is a simple life and we are happy with it.
