Jyothi Engineering Works

Jyothi Engineering Works is situated in the 4th Kurla Industrial Estate in Ghatkopar West. We are pretty much right opposite Narayan Nagar. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other workshops and small factories. It’s a place where things are constantly being made or fixed. The sounds of machines and metal hitting metal are pretty much constant from morning until evening. Our workshop isn't very large, and it’s usually quite full of machinery and metal scraps. There isn't much in the way of a seating area or a front desk. Most of our work happens on the shop floor. We've been in this location for a good number of years now. We know most of the other guys working in the nearby units. It’s a gritty environment, and we often have grease on our hands and dirt on our clothes by the end of the day. The estate roads can be a bit rough and narrow, making it tricky for larger vehicles to navigate. We just focus on the tasks we have and try to stay on top of the work. It’s a straightforward engineering shop. We don't spend money on decorations or making the place look pretty. It’s about the machines and getting the jobs finished. We like the busy atmosphere of the estate and the fact that everyone here is just focused on their trade.
