Jyot Dairy Festival Ice Cream

Down in Mazgaon, over at Anjir Wadi 19 B, you’ll find us. Jyot Dairy Festival Ice Cream is a name that sounds a bit long, but we just think of ourselves as the local dairy shop. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. Mazgaon has changed a lot over the years, but our corner stays mostly the same. We deal with milk and ice cream every day. It’s a simple business. We don't have those fancy neon signs or a big social media page. Most people find us just by walking past or because their parents used to bring them here when they were younger. It gets really busy during the festival seasons, hence the name, I suppose. People want something sweet and cold, and we have it ready in the freezer. It’s not about being the most famous place in Mumbai. We just want to make sure the ice cream is cold and the dairy is fresh when you come through the door. The shop isn't huge, and sometimes the crates are stacked a bit high, but that’s just how we work. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from the morning until late in the evening. If you are ever wandering around Anjir Wadi, you can stop by. We’ll probably be there checking the stock or cleaning the counters. It’s just what we do here day in and day out.
