Job Sources

Job Sources is located right in Peth Mohalla in the Murud Janjira area of Raigarh district. Most days it is fairly quiet around here until someone stops by looking for a lead on a new job. We do not have a big fancy glass front or a receptionist. It is just some chairs and a wooden desk where we keep all the papers and folders. The rain gets really heavy during the monsoon season so we spend some time fixing roof leaks or just waiting for the wind to die down. People walk in from the main road after seeing our small board outside. Usually, they are looking for something nearby or maybe something over in the bigger towns. We just try to keep track of who is hiring around the 402201 area. It is not a huge operation at all. My cousin helps out sometimes when he is not busy with his own things. We have been at this address for a while now, right near the old neighborhood spots. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just talk to people and write things down by hand. It feels more real that way. You might have passed by Peth Mohalla and not even noticed our door. It is a bit tucked away from the main path. We drink a lot of chai while looking through the latest listings. That is just how things go here. Nothing too complicated, just a place for locals.
