Jivraj Exports

We are located at 150 Mumbadevi Road, which is a very old and busy part of Mumbai. The Mumbadevi Temple is right nearby, so the street is always crowded with devotees and vendors selling flowers and sweets. It’s a noisy place to work, but we’ve gotten used to the bells and the constant chatter over the years. Our business is Jivraj Exports, and we mostly handle metal goods and traditional items that we send out to different places. The building we are in has seen better days, and the stairs are quite steep and narrow. We spend a lot of time in the back room where we pack the orders. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the wooden crates are sturdy enough for travel. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a corporate office. It’s just us and a few workers who have been with the family for a long time. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the rain or the crowds going to the temple. Other days, we have three shipments going out at once and everything is a bit of a mess. We just try to keep the orders moving and stay on good terms with the local transporters. It’s a simple life, rooted in this old neighborhood, and we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves anywhere else.
