Jinendar Dugdhlaya

At Jinendar Dugdhlaya, we start our days pretty early when most people in Kandivali West are still asleep. Our spot is at number 9, and it’s been the same routine for quite a long time now. By the time the sun is fully up, we’ve already been busy for hours moving crates and getting things ready for the morning rush. Kandivali West 9 has a specific feel to it, especially in the quiet hours before the traffic starts picking up. The shop itself isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we use the space we have. People from the nearby buildings stop by on their way to work or when they’re out running errands. We see the same faces every day, which makes the work feel a bit more personal. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and carrying stuff, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We don't have any big marketing plans or fancy signs outside. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it. It’s a simple life here at the shop. We just make sure the place is clean and everything is where it should be before the next customer arrives. Being part of this neighborhood for so long has its ups and downs, but we’re content just staying here at our little location.
