Jha General Store

Up in Borivali East at 26-B/1, you will find Jha General Store. It is not a huge place, but we try to keep it well-stocked with all the basic things a family needs. We have been here for a while and have become a regular stop for many of the people living in the apartments nearby. Most of our mornings start very early with the milk delivery and people stopping by to get bread and eggs before they go to work. It gets a little bit crowded around 8 AM, but we manage to get everyone what they need. The store isn't fancy at all. We have our metal racks and a wooden counter, and that is about it. We like it that way because it makes it easy for us to find things. Borivali East is a good neighborhood to be in, and being at 26-B/1 means we get to see a lot of the daily life going on around us. We don't do any big sales or use marketing tricks. We just keep our prices fair and try to have what people are looking for. Sometimes we run out of a certain brand of soap or flour, but we always try to get more in the next day. It’s just me and a couple of guys helping out. We talk to the customers about their day and what is happening in the area. It feels like a small community here.
