You can find us in Ashok Nagar, Kandivali East, at room 204 in the Jeevan Shraddha building. Kandivali is a busy part of Mumbai, and Ashok Nagar has a mix of families and small businesses all living side by side. Our office is on the second floor, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything heavy. It’s a standard residential building, so the atmosphere is quite cozy compared to the big offices in other parts of the city. We have our computers set up and there are always papers stacked on the desks because we have a lot to keep track of with the airline operations. The window looks out over the street, so we can see the fruit sellers and the traffic moving slowly below us. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we have a few fans that keep the air moving. We’ve been in this building for quite a while, so we know the watchman and the other people who live here pretty well. It feels like a very grounded place to work. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and we're right there at our desks. It’s a straightforward way to run things, and it works for us. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away, just looking at flight details and trying to keep the records updated. It isn't much to look at but we are usually kept busy until the shift ends.
