Our office is located in the Elahi Bux Mansion in Mahim, Mumbai. We are on the ground floor in room number one. It is right on Mahim Bazar Lane, so it is a very lively and busy place to be. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long. This particular spot handles various administrative things for Jet Airways. It is a very humble office with basic furniture and a few computers. It is not like the big glass buildings you see in the business districts. This is a more traditional Mumbai space with high ceilings and old doors. We have been here in Maharashtra for a long time. The team here is small and we all have our specific roles to play. We spend a lot of time dealing with logistics and making sure the paperwork is correct. It is not always exciting work, but it is necessary. Sometimes people walk in off the street asking for help with their travel plans and we do what we can to guide them. The air in Mahim is salty because we are close to the sea. We don't have any corporate slogans or big posters on the walls. We just have our calendars and our to-do lists. It is a very grounded way to work. We are part of the local fabric here in Mahim and we like the convenience of the location for our daily tasks.
