We are based over in the Old Air India Colony in Kalina, Santacruz East. It’s a very specific part of Mumbai, right near the airport area. Our office is at 15/4, and it’s a place that has seen a lot of years. The colony has its own rhythm, very different from the rest of the city. We handle a lot of the administrative side of things here. Dharmendra K Gupta is the name on our door, and we all work together to keep things moving. It’s not a flashy corporate headquarters. It’s a bit more lived-in and practical. We have stacks of papers and old filing cabinets that have been around forever. Kalina can get quite congested, so we usually try to get in early to avoid the worst of it. The planes flying overhead are a constant sound here, but you get used to it after a few days. We don't really do big marketing or fancy displays. We just do the work that needs doing. It’s an honest environment. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the daily tasks. Sometimes the monsoon makes the walk to the building a bit of a challenge with the puddles, but we manage. It’s a place with a lot of memories for many people who have worked in aviation for a long time. We’re just here doing our part in this little corner of Santacruz.
