Our spot is Unit 231 inside Udyog Bhavan on Sonawala Road. If you know Goregaon East, you know how packed this road gets during the rush hour every day. It’s an old industrial building with a lot of different businesses tucked away in different units. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. The unit itself is mostly filled with engineering equipment and various metal parts. It isn't a place for meetings in suits; it’s more about getting grease on your hands and making sure the machines are built right. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow, so we usually just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. There’s always a hum of machinery coming from the other units, so it’s never really quiet. We have a small team here. Most of the guys have been with us for years and know exactly where every tool is kept, even if the place looks a bit cluttered to an outsider. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just talk to people who need engineering work done and try to finish it on time. Sometimes things get delayed when parts don't arrive, but we deal with it as it comes. It’s a straightforward way of working. Being in Goregaon East is handy because most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too terrible most days. It’s just how it is for us here.
