We are situated at Plot No 33/F1 in Shivaji Nagar, over on the Govandi Worli Market Road. If you know where the old BEST bus depot is, we are right near there. Our shop is full of all the usual hardware things like wires, switches, tools, and pipes. It is a bit of a jumble inside because we try to keep everything anyone might need. There is always a layer of fine dust on the higher shelves, and the floor is concrete. We spend our days cutting wire for people or looking for specific sizes of screws in the little plastic bins. Being near the market road means it is always noisy outside with people shouting and trucks passing by. The old bus depot is a landmark that everyone uses to find us. We don't have any air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that rattles a bit when it is on high. It is a local shop where we know many of the contractors and residents by name. They come in for a bit of advice or just to pick up a replacement part for something that broke at home. We have been in Shivaji Nagar for a long time. The shop hasn't changed much over the years, and we like it that way. It is a place where you can find what you need without any fuss. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next customer.
