Janam Travels

We’ve been running Janam Travels from our spot on S V Road for quite some time now. You can find us right near Gangamma Circle, inside Ganesh Bhawan. It’s a busy area and sometimes the noise from the traffic gets a bit much, but we like being where everything is happening. The office isn't anything special, just a few desks and some old maps on the walls. Mostly, it’s just me and a couple of others here every day. We handle bookings and talk to people about where they need to go. It’s steady work. Some days are packed with people wanting to go home for the holidays and other days we just sit and drink tea while waiting for the phone to ring. We don't really do fancy advertising or anything like that. People mostly know us because they walk past the building or their neighbors told them about us. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go around the circle, but we’re still here doing our thing. It feels good to know the regular faces who stop by just to say hello even if they aren't traveling that week. We keep our paperwork in order, though sometimes the piles on the desk get a bit high. It’s a simple life running a travel desk. We just show up, open the shutters, and see who needs help getting to the next town. That’s pretty much the whole story of our little shop.
