Jaidev Travels

Jaidev Travels is sitting at Shop Number 2 on R C Marg. We are right next to that Shr Chembur area, though the address also mentions Hulimavu Gate and Arakere Village because of some confusion with our old listings. Most people know us because we are right opposite Navjeevan Society. It’s a small shop, mostly just a counter and some chairs for people to wait while we check the schedules. We’ve been here in Chembur for a good while. The street outside is always full of people walking to the station or heading home. We handle travel bookings and car rentals. It’s mostly just us answering the phone and writing things down in our registers. We don't have a big website or anything like that. People just walk in because they saw the sign while passing by. Sometimes we have a bit of trouble with the internet, so we have to do things the old-fashioned way. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running at full speed. We know most of the people in the society across the road. They come by for a chat sometimes. It’s a local business and we like it that way. No big corporate rules here, just trying to help people get their tickets and get on their way without too much fuss. Sometimes the buses are late, and we have to deal with grumpy passengers, but that’s just part of the travel world. We keep a stock of cold water in the back.
