Jai Bhairav

Jai Bhairav is over in Borivali East. You can find us at Nehru Nagar on S V Road. It’s a busy intersection and there’s always something going on outside. The shop is small and simple. We’ve been at this spot for quite a few years now. S V Road is always packed with traffic, so we hear honking all day long. Inside, we keep things organized in our own way, though it might look messy to someone else. We don't have fancy lights or air conditioning that works perfectly. Most of the time, the door is just open to let some air in. People from Nehru Nagar stop by often, sometimes just to say hello. We do our work and try to stay out of trouble. We don't have any big plans to move. This place works for us. The walls are covered with calendars and some pictures from over the years. We use an old desk that has been here since we opened. Borivali East is a nice neighborhood, very lively. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it’s on high, but it does its job. We have a small fridge in the corner for cold water, which is a life saver in the summer. We’ve got used to the sound of the buses and the heavy rain hitting the roof. We know the milkman and the newspaper guy quite well. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we appreciate being here.
