J M Engineering Works

You can find J M Engineering Works over at Ram Nagar in Malad East. We are in Kamble Chawl, specifically Room Number 5. It’s a very local setup, right in the middle of a busy residential neighborhood. It is definitely not a big industrial factory. We work out of a small space, but we have everything we need to handle basic engineering and repair jobs. Most people in the area know us simply as the place where things get fixed. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. You usually just find someone working on a piece of equipment right by the entrance. The heat in Malad can be quite something in the summer, especially when we are working with metal. We just keep the fans going and get on with it. It’s a hands-on kind of life. We see a lot of the same faces coming back whenever they have a problem with a motor or some ironwork. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do right by the people who live and work around here. Sometimes the kids from the chawl stop by to watch what we are doing for a minute. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere. We take our time to make sure things are solid. When the day is over, we lock up the shutters and head home like everyone else in Ram Nagar. It is good, honest work.
