Iskcon

Iskcon has a spot here in Room No-192 at Hare Krishna Land in Juhu. This is right in the heart of Mumbai-400 049. Living and working around here is quite something because the atmosphere is very specific to the temple grounds. Room 192 is where we handle a lot of the day-to-day things. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for what we do. Juhu is usually very busy, especially with the beach nearby, but once you get inside Hare Krishna Land, things feel a little different. We spend our time managing records and helping out with whatever is needed for the organization. The room itself is simple, with some basic furniture and a lot of books and papers scattered around. You can often hear the sounds from the temple nearby, which becomes part of the daily background noise. We don’t have any fancy corporate offices or anything like that. It’s a very grounded environment. We have a lot of people coming through the doors at all hours, so we try to keep things organized as best as we can. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the activity, but we just take it one step at a time. We don't really do big speeches about our goals; we just focus on the tasks at hand in our little room. It’s a unique place to be, and it keeps us quite occupied from morning until night. It is just life here.
