Internship At The International Airport

We are based out of Gulshan No. 1, right in Flat 907 on Juhu Cross Lane. If you know Andheri West, you know how packed this area gets. The building is an older one, but it’s home for the Internship At The International Airport operations. It’s a bit of a mix here because we are in a residential flat but doing work that’s all about the big airport nearby. You can actually hear the planes taking off if the wind is blowing the right way. Most of the day is spent on the phone or sitting at the big wooden table we use as a desk. Juhu Cross Lane is always a mess with cars trying to take shortcuts, so we usually just walk to the station or catch a rickshaw at the corner. Being in Mumbai 400058 means we are close to everything but tucked away enough that it’s not too noisy inside the flat. We’ve got a small kitchen where we make coffee, and there are files piled up in the corner because there’s never enough shelf space. It’s not a polished office with glass walls, just a place where we try to help people figure out their training and schedules. Sometimes the lift in Gulshan acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a hike to the ninth floor. We just keep things simple and focus on the daily tasks without much fuss. It is a bit cramped but we manage to stay organized enough to get through the pile of applications.
