Indraji Tours & Travels is based at B 01 on Akurli Road. We’re over in the Ngef Layout part of Sanjaya Nagar. It’s a decent spot for a travel office because people in the neighborhood can just walk in when they’re thinking about taking a trip. Most of our day is spent looking at schedules and trying to find the right routes for people. It’s not just about booking a ticket; it’s about making sure the timings actually work out in the real world. We have a lot of maps and brochures lying around, though most things are on the computer these days. The office is simple, just some chairs for customers and our desks. We hear the traffic from Akurli Road all day long, but you get used to it. Travel can be a headache with all the changes and cancellations, so we spend a lot of time on the phone trying to sort things out for folks. We aren't a big chain with a call center. It’s just us here in Sanjaya Nagar. We know the local roads and the best ways to get to the airport or the station from here. People come to us because we’re nearby and we give them a straight answer about what’s available. It’s a steady job that keeps us connected to the community. We just take it one booking at a time and try to keep things as simple as possible.
