Independent Media Consultant

Working as an Independent Media Consultant here in Andheri West, Mumbai, is always interesting. This part of the city is famous for a lot of things, but for me, it’s just where the office is. I don’t have a massive building with my name on it. It’s a more personal setup. Andheri West is always full of life, day and night. There is always someone walking by or a rickshaw zooming past. The energy is high, and it keeps you on your toes. I spend a lot of time on the phone or at my desk. It is a simple space, mostly just books, a computer, and a lot of notebooks. I like it that way. It’s not about having a fancy address; it’s about the stuff I get done. The weather in Mumbai can be tough, especially with the humidity, but the office stays okay. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time, so I know where all the good lunch spots are. Sometimes I’ll take a walk just to clear my head. It’s not a corporate environment with strict rules. It’s just me and the work. I handle things as they come. It’s a very straightforward way to live and work in such a big, busy city. I don't need a team of assistants to get things moving. I just handle the business myself and make sure my clients are sorted out. It’s honest work and it keeps me quite busy most days.
