Illusion

Illusion is part of The Acres Club over in Chembur, located at 411-B on Hemu Kalani Marg. Being inside a club means we have a specific kind of setup here. It’s a place where people from the neighborhood or club members come to unwind. Chembur is a busy suburb, but once you get into the club grounds, it feels a bit more tucked away from the main traffic. We’ve got a space that works well for people who want to sit down and relax after work or on the weekends. It’s not a huge, overwhelming venue, just a spot with some music and tables. We spend our shifts making sure the lighting is right and the drinks are ready. It’s a lot of work behind the scenes to keep a place like this running smoothly. We see a lot of familiar faces because the club has its regulars who have been coming here for years. We aren't trying to be the trendiest place in Mumbai; we just want to be a reliable spot in Chembur where you can spend an evening. The staff is mostly local people who know the area well. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times we have a bit of a crowd, but we just take it as it comes. It’s a practical, honest place for people to gather and have a bit of fun. We keep the bar stocked and the floors swept, and that’s about the extent of it.
