Illies Engineering (India) Pvt Ltd

We have our office over in the Balmer Lawrie Building. It is on the third floor, right there at 5 J N Heredia Marg in Ballard Estate. If you have ever been down to this part of town, you know it has a lot of history and old stone buildings. Illies Engineering (India) Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this space for a while now. It is a solid place to work, though finding parking can be a real headache some mornings. We usually just take the stairs or the old lift up to the third floor. The office is pretty quiet most of the day, except for when the phones start ringing or we are dealing with paperwork. Being in Ballard Estate feels different than being in the newer parts of the city. There is a certain way things happen here, and we just follow that rhythm. We aren't doing anything flashy or trying to look bigger than we are. It’s just a group of us sitting at desks, handling our engineering business and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes we go down for tea or a quick snack at the local stalls nearby. The building itself is quite sturdy and has that old Mumbai feel to it. We like being part of the landscape here on J N Heredia Marg. It’s where we do our thing every day without making too much of a fuss about it.
